Summer  Pack  Trips

Your trip begins at our Base Camp on Bim Creek.  We offer high mountain lake fishing, fishing one of the four major streams in our area, or fish the North Fork Clearwater River.  The streams within our area are some of Idaho's best kept fly fishing secrets.

If fishing is not your fancy, then sit back and enjoy the solitude and beauty of the mountains that surround you.  How about going down the trail on horseback for sightseeing and picture taking?  Who knows what may appear before your very eyes, a deer, elk or possibly a bear.  Enjoying the Clearwater National Forest will be rewarding for you and your family.

Fully  Guided  Deluxe  Hunts

Our guided hunts are 2 hunters to 1 guide.  The hunt is conducted in the back country accessible only on horseback.  Camps are complete with straight wall tents, a full time cook to prepare meals daily, and support personnel to see that your game is packed out to processing plants if need be.  We strive to keep our camps clean, comfortable and as modern as possible.

You must furnish your own sleeping bag, duffel bag, hunt license and tags, and weapon.  It's good to also bring a saddle scabbard, flashlight, rain gear, and game bags along with your personal gear.  Meat processing, taxidermy and motels before and after hunts are at your expense.

Archery  Elk  Hunts

Enjoy the thrill of a bugling bull from only a few yards away.  Our experienced guides will bring them in as close as possible to give you the opportunity you have been waiting for.  Available for your pleasure are fully guided hunts or our drop camps.

The  Lolo  Zone  (unit 10)

This area is known for one of the largest Elk herds in the country.  Our area is approximately 130 square miles with most designated as a proposed wilderness area.  The area is accessible only on foot or horseback, therefore, we have very little outside hunting pressure in the rugged back country.  The elevation runs from 2,000 to 7,000 feet, with most of our hunting done between 3,000 and 6,000 feet.

Rifle  Elk  &  Deer  Hunts

Ride the ridge tops and glass open hillsides on those crisp mornings and evenings and still hunt the big timber during the mid-day periods.  Horses are available for our guided hunts but not always used.  We leave it to the discretion of our guides and hunters.

Big  Game  Drop  Camps

We furnish tents, stoves, lanterns, gas, camp tools, cooking utensils, cots, pads, and wood.  We will meet you at our Base Camp and pack you, your food, and gear to a good tent camp in the best of Elk hunting areas.

We like to stay in touch with our back country camps by C.B. radios (when possible), and the packer will visit your camp every few days or as needed to pack your meat and gear out.  A horse will be furnished for you to ride in to camp and back out again.

Deluxe  Spring  Bear  (May  and  June)
&  Fall  Bear  (September  &  October)

Guided hunts are conducted out of our base camp as well as our back country camps.  We hunt bear by glassing hillsides or the use of baits, whichever method you prefer to use to pursue your Bear.  We have a number of large Bear with excellent possibility of taking a color phase Bear.  To date, more than 1/2 of our Bear have been color phase.

Deluxe  Cougar  Hunts   Not Available Until Further Notice
(November,  December, and January)

Guided hunts with hounds and the use of snowmobiles, horses, a truck and/or on foot, as the snow levels and elevation dictate.  Lodging may be at Base Camp or in a motel close to our area.  We usually only take one hunter at a time insuring a quality hunting experience.  Be sure to get in shape for this one and bring along those wool clothes.

Mountain  Goat  Hunts

(September,  October,  &   November)

Mountain Goat tags are a controlled hunt.  Applications available online from Idaho Fish & Game  We hunt the Mallard-Larkin Pioneer / Collins Creek Area where there are many trophy class goats.  If you draw, start planning the hunt of a lifetime.  This hunt is a 1 on 1 for 10 days.  Get in shape for this rigorous hunt.
