Forest Grouse Hunts / day 

(September & October)

Forest Grouse are plentiful and easy to find.  Ruffed Grouse are the most common with a few Blue Grouse (also known as Dusky Grouse) in the area.  Their tendency to hold tight and short flight in a feeble attempt to hide make these birds a great first hunt for new hunters or a bonus species  (at no additional charge) during a Big Game Hunt.  Not to mention a good meal.
